Learning from the Electrical and Power Supply Department of Tianjin Zhongwang, the 220kV transformer station is one subscriber station and the installation and acceptance work are finished. At present, the station is in the stage of joint commissioning. It is estimated that the station can be qualified for the power supply at the end of October, 2014.

Tianjin Zhognwang 220kV transformer station is equipped with many advanced equipment. The main equipment of this station are purchased from ABB, including 4 sets of 120MVA main transformer, 220kV SF6 GIS, station transformers, 35kV SF6 C-GIS and other equipment.  The compensation device of SVC, first and secondary protection systems are purchased from domestic famous suppliers.

After the 220kV transformer station put into operation, a power supply net work with the 220kV transformer station as the main station and 25 sets of 35kV transformer stations as substations  will be formed, which play an important role in optimizing the power supply structure of Tianjin Zhongwang and increasing the power supply reliability and power quality security.
